I do believe one needs to allow for maceration so this fragrance can truly shine. I don't have Armani's Oud Royal or Ombre Nomade to compare (Opulent Oud is apparently a clone of both), but I can tell you that Opulent Oud is a beautiful Arabian fragrance. It is a strong like for me. Plenty of oud in this one, and it is done very well. I did get a bit of a coconut oil vibe about an hour in but that faded. Didn't get much vanilla unfortunately; I was hoping that would show up on the dry-down. But if you like oud scents then give Opulent Oud a try.
Excellent presentation - the packaging, bottle and sprayer make this appear as if you have spent a great deal more than R225.
Lattafa is producing some amazing scents at very low prices, and this one is well worth checking out. Please go easy on the sprayer - you only need two sprays, no more - and you will be smelling good for at least 12 hours.
